Craft
A copper still,
a slow patience.
Our copper still extracts the essential oil through slow aqueous distillation, preserving the most fragile volatile compounds. Every batch is analysed by gas chromatography prior to shipment.
Vanilla
A second
noble material.
Alongside sandalwood, we cultivate and condition Lifou vanilla in our forest nursery. A second noble material from the same terroir.
Our sandalwood is not Mysore. It has its own temperament — drier, more mineral. We want perfumers to know it for what it is.
