House
One land, one custom,
one sandalwood.
LIFLOR is a distillery of the Chépénéhé tribe, in the Wetr district of Lifou, the largest of the Loyalty Islands, where Caledonian sandalwood has grown for centuries under customary stewardship.

Our story
From a
laboratory
to a house.
An artisanal laboratory
The first stills are lit in Chépénéhé. A handful of people, a fragile resource, and the conviction that Caledonian sandalwood deserves to be known on its own terms.
A professional distillery
LIFLOR is registered as a company (March 2018), structures its harvesting and replanting, and scales its hydrodistillation while keeping its customary roots.
ECOCERT For Life
LIFLOR becomes the first For Life certified sandalwood on the market, the only certified house in the South Pacific, audited each year.

The people
A house carried by hands and names.

Jules Kauma Siwa

Germain Wiwane
Technical Director
Leads harvesting, replanting and hydrodistillation, and is the point of contact for perfumers and sourcing teams.
